we release on jan.19th 2018:
Mark Wade’s second album “Moving Day” with his great musicians:
Scott Neumann (drums) and Tim Harrison (piano)
Congratulations to our artist bassplayer/composer Mark Wade from NYC:
out now : Tango Ensemble faux pas
The tango sextet faux pas from Northern Germany, is popular with German tango lovers and international audiences in Europe, South America and Asia.
For their new album they arranged and recorded a fine selection from Traditional Tango Compositions to Tango Nuevos by composers like A. Piazzolla, G. Lynch and R. Galliano. Vocal songs and instrumentals are found equally on the record. Their interpretations are convincing by clarity in sound and arrangement. Individual virtuosity and sensitivity of the musicians are noticeable throughout but never interfere with the ensemble sound as a whole.

next release 02.12.16 : ALICE – ein Rockmusical
Originally produced in 1993, ALICE – ein Rockmusical is a Hit with German musical groups. Numerous Schools and free Ensembles have been producing this cool piece, that features a remarkable treatment of Lewis Carrolls bizarre Tales.
Timeless rock music deepens and refines the well-known figures like the neurotic White Rabbit, the hysteric Queen of Hearts and her son, the Jack of Hearts, who is in love with Alice. This new Album is the first complete recording, to which the authors Martin Doll (libretto and lyrics) and Stefan Wurz (music) assembled numerous known Singers from all over Germany.
Release Feb. 26th: Debut Album by New York based Bassplayer/Composer Mark Wade
Bassist Mark Wade takes the art of the trio to brilliant new heights with his debut recording Event Horizon.
Working with trio-mates Tim Harrison, piano, and Scott Neumann, drums, Wade shines as an instrumentalist, composer, and bandleader.
“I always loved listening to great piano trios,” the Queens, New York-based bassist says. “With no horn players or other musicians, there is so much space for expression, but with that comes the responsibility to have something to say. You can’t hide behind a lot of other musicians. Everybody has to really stand out. I wanted to challenge myself and put myself in a situation where I had to be an excellent soloist.”
Release Feb. 26th: Sampler with music from the Documentary “Tango Pasión”, a movie by Kordula Hildebrandt.
A beautiful Tango Selection: traditional Tango, Tango Nuevo, Tango Jazz, Tango Chanson performed by some of europe’s best tango ensembles: La Bicicleta, Bassa, Faux-Pas, Duo Diagonal, Hamburg Tango Quintet, Flutterband Trio and some Jazz and Classical Artists, who interpret tango in their very own way: FraGILe, Jonas Schoen, Unerhört Fagott.
Out Now : Debut Album by Austrian Band RECURSION
While listening to the music of Trio.Berlin first you could think of a contemporary chamber music ensemble.
But it is quite different, most of the music which is strongly influenced by composers like Olivier Messiaen especially his „Quatuor pour la fin du temps“ and the „Klangästhetik“ of Alban Berg and Sergey Prokofiev is improvised, combined with parts that are completely written out compositions. By using this approach Jos Rinck/Flute, Petra Woisetschläger/Piano and Udo Betz/Doublebass create their very own genre which they label as „Enhanced Interpretation“ and „Improvised Chamber Music“.
you can buy the download version of the new FaGILe Album “Josephine’s melody” on bandcamp (all formats:mp3,flac,wav)

Songs von u.a.
we interpreted in our very own way songs of Massive Attack, Billy Joel, Sade, America and Duke Ellington among others.
We did the whole audiophile recording and mixing in Berlin with Volker Greve.
Also in our team we had on most of the songs guitar player Lars Martens.
“Die Stimme von Petra Woisetschläger zeigt so viele Facetten auf, dass es einem den Atem raubt.”
“……Die Sängerin verfügt über eine dunkle, riesige Sangeskraft………. Äußerst expressiv ist ihr Ausdruck, das Album richtig gut, im Sinne der strengen RONDO-Bewertung.”
